Sometimes as we drive through Houston, hurrying from one place to another or just frustrated stuck in traffic, we miss the fantastic works of art that grace our buildings. The art truly reflects the creativity and diversity of Houston itself.
On this page is a small collection of the nearly 750 works of art that are free for us all to enjoy. These pictures were taken while riding bikes on the trails and streets of Houston. These treasures are easy to miss as we drive our cars, zipping from one place to another, or being frustrated while sitting in traffic.
I think the pictures are beautiful, but they don’t do justice to the beauty of each work. I hope you will take the time to see these (and others) up close and personal. I tried to give the address of each one, but some might not have the location - - sorry.
